Strolling around Barcelona is wonderful. The weather in the city is very good, there are lots of people in the streets and the beach area is very nice.
When you finish making the tourist route, what is left is a charming city with its daily life, its friendly people and its rich gastronomy. This is Barcelona.
As if all this is not enough, there is a very good walking option which is a visit to the Park Güell. This park is also tucked inside the tourist route but is a bit further away than the other attractions. Being in the upper part of the city, with a beautiful view, it is worth staying there a little more time.
Its construction began in 1900 and the inauguration was in 1914. It was designed by Antonio Gaudí and therefore his style is totally modernist.
The park is really very nice but like almost all of Barcelona’s attractions, you have to buy the tickets before you get there. I leave here the link for the purchase of tickets
If you are in Barcelona, with a little spare time, I recommend a walk to the park Güell. And then Barcelona waits for you !!
